hELLO, My name is Chatzistamatiou Maria-Aikaterini
and I’m a young artist born in 2007 and based in Bucharest, Romania.
From a young age, I’ve been captivated by the world of creativity, as it was the only world that allowed me a place of refuge.
My inspiration comes from my past experiences, in which I’ve felt like I couldn’t use words to explain my feelings. Because of this, I strive to create pieces for all of those that struggle to describe their emotions. But beyond that, my art is a journey- an evolving story of my own experiences and growth as an artist.
Amidst the chaos of everyday life, I aim to offer a moment of calm.
My creations are an invitation to step into a world where reality blurs with the surreal, and where colours and shapes whisper secrets about the human experience. Through my art, I hope to spark conversations that dig deep into our thoughts and feelings, transcending age and background. Each piece extends an invitation to navigate the differences between reality and surrealism, where colours and forms come together to illuminate the enigma of human experience.
By doing so, I aspire to initiate dialogues that transcend generational and cultural barriers.
